Richard Crosbie Dawson MA, FRICS (Managing Director)

A qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, who has guided the expansion of FIM over the past 25 years to include the wide range of services and expertise now incorporated into the Renewables Division. Expertise extends to dealing with all property matters, including complex documentation and due diligence matters, devising and implementing investment schemes particularly those based on tax efficient structures and a wide range of investor contacts established through FIM's investment business. Colin Lees-Millais FRICS (Director)

Chartered Surveyor with particular expertise in forestry and agricultural business. He is responsible for acquisitions and investment business. Registered adviser with the Financial Services Authority.

Edward Daniels (Director)

Edward joined FIM in October 2010 and focuses on renewable and structured forestry investment products. Prior to joining FIM, he worked for Ludgate Investments for just under four years advising the Ludgate Environmental Fund, an AIM listed closed-ended fund, on investing development capital in cleantech and environmental technology companies. Edward qualified as a chartered accountant and then worked for Ernst & Young for six years providing buy-side due diligence and related transaction services to private equity clients in New York and London. Edward graduated from Newcastle upon Tyne University in 1996 with joint honours in Economics and Accounting.

Robert Daniell, MBA, BSc (Hons) (Consultant)

Robert’s primary focus is FIM’s renewables business and structured forestry investment products. Robert worked in wholesale and investment banking as a Managing Director for ABN Amro, prior to that, Chase and J P Morgan. Robert then worked for Rescap, the mortgage arm of GMAC, as Managing Director, member of the Executive Committee and a non-executive Director of their UK business. Robert has an MBA from the London Business School and a BSc (Hons) in Forestry from Aberdeen.

Edward Goldsworthy (Investment Manager)

Ed joined FIM in November 2009 as a corporate finance executive to work on the origination, assessment and management of renewable energy and forestry investments. Prior to joining FIM Ed trained as an ACA with KPMG before moving into commercial finance with Siemens L&A and then corporate finance with MacIntyre Hudson LLP where he specialized in business start-ups and mid-market transactions.

Tristan Winter (Investment Analyst)

Tristan joined FIM in August 2011 to work on the evaluation and assessment of potential investments in renewable energy and forestry. Prior to joining FIM, Tristan worked as a quantitative analyst at Chelsea Building Society, where he also trained as a chartered certified accountant. Tristan graduated from Lincoln College, Oxford in 2004 with a BA (Hons) in Mathematics.

Edward Anderson-Bickley MRICS (Fund Manager)

Edward joined FIM in October 2011. A qualified member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, with a particular focus on real estate investment fund design and management. Edward has a BSc Honours degree from the School of Real Estate Management at Oxford Brookes University, and has extensive fund management and real estate experience. He is the Fund Manager for FIM Forest Fund I LP and FIM Sustainable Timber & Energy LP, and is also responsible for the design and implementation of additional forestry funds.

Anthony Crosbie Dawson (Portfolio Manager)

Anthony joined FIM in March 2011 to work on the portfolios of Private Clients. His responsibilities include increasing the productivity of clients’ existing assets, as well as sourcing new assets for current and potential clients. After University Anthony served a year long internship with UBS Investment Bank in New York, before spending 3 years in the City with Merrill Lynch and Macquarie. He then spent two years working in sales and marketing in the Offshore Finance and Travel industries in South America, mostly based in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro.

Carole Harris (ACMA) (Asset Manager)

Carole joined FIM in April 2009.
Carole is responsible for the management of existing renewable energy assets. Prior to joining FIM Carole worked in Corporate Finance at Grant Thornton UK LLP. Her earlier career was spent in industry where she worked as a Finance and Operations Director in Technology, Software and Travel Companies.

Joanne Rees (Company Accountant)

Joanne joined FIM in September 2011 as Company Accountant to cover maternity leave. Joanne is a chartered certified accountant. Her early career was in audit practice with PricewaterhouseCoopers before moving into industry as accountant for a high performance computing company.

Jacqueline Kelly (Senior Accounts Assistant)

Joined FIM in November 2008 and is AAT Qualified. Working mainly on forestry accounts but also assisting the Company Accountant on overseas and renewable investments.

Hannah Kay (Accounts Assistant)

Hannah joined FIM in November 2010 to assist the Senior Accounts Assistant in the running of the forestry & windfarm accounts. Hannah has achieved her Level 3 AAT qualification and is now studying towards Level 4.

Sue Britten (Office Manager)

With FIM since February 1998. Sue takes care of all the day to day running of FIM ensuring the company runs smoothly. Working also on the administration of her own client list within the Sustainable Forestry Division.

Victoria Larkin (Executive Administrator)

Joined FIM in November 2004. Victoria is responsbible for Marketing, the FIM Website and is the Fund Administrator for FIM Forest Fund I LP. Victoria also assists with the running and administration of her own client list within the Sustainable Forestry Division.

Heather Hanson (Executive Administrator)

Joined FIM in November 2009. Heather is responsible for insurance, is the Fund Administrator for FIM Sustainable Timber & Energy LP and reviews FIM’s standards and procedures to ensure they meet current ISO 9001 standards. Heather also works on the administration of her own client list within the Sustainable Forestry and Renewables Divisions.
